Heather M. Fitzgerald, 53, of Coopersburg, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Harboring Dangerous Dogs and Confinement of Animal Within Premises of Owner following a police investigation on Monday, Sept. 30, the Springfield Township Police Department detailed in the release.
This was Fitzgerald's second official offense within this year, according to police. She had another charge of Confinement of an Animal Within the Premises of the Owner filed for an incident on Sunday, Jan. 7, as shown in court documents.
There have also been "multiple, previous investigations involving similar circumstances with Fitzgerald's animals," police said.
Fitzgerald was processed in Quakertown and is awaiting a preliminary hearing, according to police. A docket for the current charges wasn't available when this story was published.
